Andrew Mark Cuomo is an American politician, author and lawyer, 56th governor of New York since 2011. As a member of the Democratic Party, he was elected to the same post as his father, Mario. Cuomo, served three terms. He has been president of the National Governors Association since August 2020. Born in Queens, New York, Cuomo is a graduate of Fordham University and Albany Law School at Union University, New York. He began his career as a campaign manager for his father, then worked as an assistant attorney in New York before entering private law practice.
